Dear FIIC members,

I write you today to inform you that two positions on the FIIC Board of Directors will be open for election at the next AGA (annual general assembly) that will take place on August 4th in Ratingen, Germany, at the occasion of the XXII inter-crosse World Games (formal invitation and AGA agenda will be sent shortly): 

1. The position of secretary is already vacant after the recent resignation of former secretary Mr. Jiri Kopacek because of professional reasons. 

2. A position of officer (vice president) will also be vacant after the next AGA, as Mr. Clément Michoud recently informed me that he will not apply for another mandate.

The board of directors is the second level of governing bodies of the FIIC (after the AGA) and a full composition of the board is necessary to ensure the operations and administation of the Federation. The board members are volunteers, motivated by their love for the sport of inter-crosse and their desire to contribute to its promotion and development.

Anyone interested to submit his/her candidature for one of these two positions on the board should do it either by email (reply to this message) before the day of the AGA (August 4th) or in person to any of the board members present in Ratingen (Floriane Ranno, José Guiot and myself). The election will take place during the 2010 AGA on Wednesday August 4th.
